Steve's testimonial
Steve sits in his office, looking just off camera. Someone behind the camera asks the questions, and they get cut out or shown as captions. Nothing is scripted for Steve, his answers are his own words.
Ask, one at a time
- Who are you and what do you do?
- Why did you approach Chris?
- What was going on with your marketing before that?
- What did Chris actually do?
- What's happened since?
- What's the best thing about working with him?
- What would you say to another business owner thinking about it?
Last shot, Chris to camera
"If you want to have a chat, just send me a message."

Good results
Chris, to camera. Three real results, plainly said.
Script
"I'm Chris. I run SAL Marketing Group. I won't tell you I'm the best in Perth. I'll just tell you what's happened.
A concreter spent $56 on ads. 19 people asked for a quote in under two days.
A sparky I've worked with for five years was paying over $400 for each enquiry from Google. We got that down to about $230.
A school up in the Pilbara has about 20 percent more kids enrolled.
So I've had some good results, and I'd like to get you some too. If you run a service business, send me a message and I'll have a look."

Fifty-six bucks
Chris, to camera. One story, with the job on screen.
Script
"$56. That's what a concreter in Perth spent on ads. 19 people asked him for a quote in under two days.
We didn't do anything clever. We filmed a real job, from the old pavers to the finished surface. Then we showed it to people nearby.
Not all of those people turn into jobs. Some were too far away. But it shows what happens when people can see your work.
Most businesses do great work and nobody sees it. If that's you, send me a message."

One keyword
Chris at the laptop, half looking at the screen, like he's showing a mate.
Script
"This is a sparky's Google Ads account. This one keyword cost $298 last month. Nine clicks. Not one enquiry.
The same campaign kept running out of money. So about a third of the time, when people searched for what he does, his ad didn't show.
So I paused that keyword. No new website. No extra money.
A lot of my job is this. You often don't need more clicks. You need your money going to the right place.
If you've got ads running and you don't know what's going on, send me a message."

A bit about me
Chris, to camera, somewhere relaxed. Walking out of the office, or leaning on the ute.
Script
"I'm Chris. I run a small marketing agency. It's me and a couple of good people I trust.
I ran ads for my own business and they didn't work. There was no system behind them. So I stopped and spent months building one.
Now I look after a handful of service businesses. I know their numbers. They get an update from me every week, so they know what I'm doing.
I'm not for everyone, and I won't chase you. But if you want someone who tells you how it's really going, send me a message."

How the day runs
Filming
- Vertical 9:16, about 30 to 45 seconds each once cut
- Leave room for captions: nothing important in the top 14% or bottom 35% of the frame
- Keep the small stumbles and laughs, they make it real
- Chris reads each script a couple of times, then says it his own way. It doesn't need to be word perfect
Photos
- Chris at the desk and laptop, looking at the screen, not the camera
- Chris and Steve talking, laughing
- Headshots: one clean, one casual, for LinkedIn and the website
- Wide shots with space for text, for ads
Bring
- Laptop, with only the approved account on screen
- Two shirts
- The concrete reel on a phone
